Tinted Zellij Tiles
The inspiration for this piece is drawn from the design elements seen in the central courtyard of a 400 years old riad in Fez, Morocco. It is a beautiful space created for leisure and relaxation, embellished with delightful gold and blue-tinted zellij tiles. Islamic calligraphy, ornamental carvings with stucco detailing, planting beds, and water elements.
Boho-chic vibes flow from this beautiful silk scarf. It will remind you of the serenity of blue-tiled pools and deeply relaxing naps under orange trees. Everything about the design evokes luxury. The art of Bandhani has been used in conjunction with "arabesque" Ajrakh printing to create an exquisitely textured effect. The silk was adorned by plucking the cloth into many bindings to form the tie and dye patterns. A unique form of hand block printing known as Ajrakh was done in Ajrakhpur, Kutch district, India. After a month of hard work, the panels were sewn together to bring to the fore a silk square of rare beauty. The piece would add visual interest to your attire. It can be worn in the coziest settings or dressed up for an evening event.
