The artisan's fingers are like paintbrushes that weave their magic across the canvas. An outcome of generations of skill transfer, the delicate silk has been woven on a traditional pit loom in Benaras, known to be one of the oldest cities in the world. It took over a month to create those exquisitely woven Mughal garden-inspired floral patterns. Small pieces of mirrors have been affixed on the fabric using intricate embroidery, to create sublime motifs that float on silk. Rhythmic artistry flows through the entire piece.
